Sunflower oil is obtained by extracting the seeds of the Helianthus annuus plant, which belongs to the Compositae family. It contains high percentages of linoleic acid (50-60%) oleic acid (20-25%) and vitamin E. Well absorbed by the skin due to its eudermic properties, it has a moisturising, refreshing and emollient action. Thanks to its composition it has an antioxidant activity which protects the body cells from lipid peroxidation and skin ageing by free radicals, and reduces rancidity. It can be used as a massage oil, alone or mixed with other oils, as a vehicle for essential oils or as a component of the fatty phase in cosmetic preparations. Applied to the skin it is a safe ingredient at any concentration of use.

For external use; keep in the original tightly closed container; store in a cool, dry place away from light and heat sources.
