Grape seeds are small seeds contained in grapes (Vitis vinifera). Each grape contains between one and four seeds, which in turn contain large quantities of oil (15-16%) obtained by pressing the seeds.

In cosmetics, its antioxidant action is exploited, protecting the skin from premature ageing, atmospheric agents and free radicals. Although the vitamin E content is lower than in other vegetable oils (such as wheat germ oil), the antioxidant effect is amply compensated for by the richness of polyphenols, a characteristic and almost exclusive feature of grape seed oil.

The strong antioxidant action helps to keep the skin elastic and luminous, slows down the formation of wrinkles and regenerates the signs of skin ageing. In addition, the presence of organic acids (malic, tartaric, glycolic) guarantees lightening properties, useful in preventing and combating skin spots.

It can be used as a massage oil, alone or mixed with other oils, as a vehicle for essential oils or as a component of the fatty phase in cosmetic preparations.

Applied to the skin it is a safe ingredient at any concentration of use.

For external use. Keep in tightly closed original container. Store in a cool, dry place away from light and heat sources.
