In aromatherapy: energizing and invigorating, it revitalizes the body and stimulates the spirit. Its balsamic perfume is excellent in a sauna but also diffused in the atmosphere to purify the air; it has expectorant and antiseptic properties and has a calming aromatic effect on the respiratory tract; a few drops in a spoonful of honey is ideal for a healing aromatic and relaxing bath; in massage oils and products it increases blood circulation and brings relief to muscle injuries, strains, sprains, pulls and inflammation.
Recommended doses massages: 2-3% solution in a carrier oil (40-60 drops in 100 ml, or 5-6 drops in a spoonful for on-the-spot preparation) suitable for most areas of the body; 1% solution in a carrier oil or base cream (20 drops in 100 ml, or 2 drops in a spoonful for on-the-spot preparation) for delicate areas of the body and delicate skin types; aromatic baths: 15 drops in 3 spoonfuls of honey, natural marine salt or neutral liquid soap; airborne: 10 drops in an aroma or vaporizer lamp. inhalations: 5-6 drops in 1 liter of hot water In cosmetics: it is used for its perfuming/flavoring, balsamic and antiseptic properties.
applications: as a fragrance component, soaps liquid soaps, cleansers, deodorants aftershave creams and body lotions; as an antiseptic and for epithelial rebalancing in products for mixed skin types, irritation and clogged skin.
recommended doses: up to 10-15 drops per every 100 grams of product; add at temperatures below 40°C.
