Infallible strategies that save colour and hair in summer

COLOR LOVE

What can you do to keep your hair beautiful and vital?

Starting from the etymology of the word, we can grasp three main psychological meanings of hair: strength, seduction and rebirth. Especially in a woman, having the fantastic ability to continually regenerate herself, hair acts as a sort of extension of her personality, immediately expressing the care she has for herself.
Exactly like the skin, hair, with the passing of time shows some important changes such as greying, the most evident transformation linked to age, and it is due to a loss of proteins and a decrease in the production of melanin, already around the age of 25-30 years our hair starts to lose its brightness.
Our hair starts to lose its shine. It is therefore essential to try to keep your hair in perfect health by giving it all the nutrients it needs to restore its strength, vigour and general wellbeing. It is therefore very important to use specific products specifically designed to achieve such results and to combine the hair care routine with ever-valuable expedients, such as attention to diet, correct stimulation of the hair scalp and the limited use of heat sources on the scalp to prevent it from drying out and becoming irritated.

Hair in summer: here's why it becomes dull.

Summer means holidays and lots of sun: however, exposure to the sun is not always beneficial, especially for some of the more sensitive parts such as skin and hair. In particular, hair is often not adequately protected and suffers intense sun exposure that risks damaging it. One of these possible risks is loss of shine and colour variations, especially in the case of dyed hair, as with intense sun exposure the cuticle cells lift and reflect less light, which is why, in summer, hair is dull and often dry to the touch.

Solution?!?
COLOR LOVE: here are some tips for protecting and reviving colour.

When it comes to hair care during the hot season, the key word is protect...brittle ends and strange colour changes are the order of the day, not allowing saltiness and the sun to ruin the colour and structure of the hair is a must.

What is best to do and what is absolutely to be avoided?

Preserving shine and full colour is possible thanks to a few tricks as well as the use of specific products such as masks, compresses, coloured conditioners, which can loosen possible knots without weighing hair down too much, or intensive, rich and strongly moisturising treatments to be used throughout the summer which repair hair with a timely effect.

There are also many variations of treatments and some contain pigments with a reflecting effect to revive one's tone, such as our beloved COLOR LOVE: an innovative hair conditioner with a high conditioning, restructuring, protective and reflecting power. The formula contains fine pigments that guarantee complete colour saturation of the hair, giving it an even, deep and intense reflection. Used constantly, they act as a colouring beauty treatment. In addition, they contain no ammonia, hydrogen peroxide or other ingredients that could damage the hair, keeping it shiny and, in the case of coloured hair, visibly reducing the normal loss of shine, delaying the intervals when colouring is required; in a single gesture they guarantee colour thanks to the micro-pigments capable of fixing themselves to the fibre without damaging its integrity, the end result, therefore, is an intense and refined reflection, the conditioned actives present guarantee hydration, softness and zero frizz. Rich in organic plant extracts, together with vitamin E, they give dry, damaged, coloured, bleached, brittle and exploited hair moisture and shine, guaranteeing a deep and even shine.

COLOR LOVE is available in 6 shades:

  • Mahogany Red, with poppy extract, marigold and lavender
  • Warm Copper Blonde, with extract of dog rose, damask and marigold
  • Cool Blonde, with extract of helichrysum, chamomile and hawthorn
  • Hot Brown, with extract of coffee, millet and green tea
  • Cool Brown, with soy, oat and sweet almond extract
  • Blue Black, with blackberry, lavender and blueberry extract.

This type of product, however, cannot lighten the hair even one tone, precisely because it contains no aggressive ingredients such as hydrogen peroxide.

How is it applied?

The colouring conditioner is applied after cleansing, allowing the product to penetrate well into all the looks, by means of a real massage. Once the conditioner has been applied to the whole hair, a protective cap must be worn and left on for about 20 minutes. Continue with an abundant rinse and styling and the hair will be coloured, radiant and soft.
